spring-operated

World class in
injection moulding

The spring-actuated needle shut-off nozzle A has been a proven productivity booster for our customers for years. It remains a robust and reliable option, particularly suitable for processing thermoplastics. Its outstanding function, reliability and cost-effective purchase make it an attractive choice. The functionality of the nozzle is directly dependent on the melt pressure, with an axially arranged needle held in a closed position by spring force. At injection pressures above 200 bar, the spring force is overcome and the nozzle opens automatically.

  • Shorter cycle times
  • Prevents filament formation and plastic leakage
  • Clean separation of the melt flow
  • Quick and easy assembly / installation
  • Cost-effective and space-saving
  • Improved process reliability

Options

Filter

For uninterrupted production and the reliable maintenance of the injection opening, preventive filtration of the plastic melt is often essential. Our melt filter is based on the proven "gap filter principle," which ensures effective separation of foreign particles, thereby enhancing process reliability.

Accessories

Heater band

The heater band is an essential component of the heating system, crucial for the optimal performance of our shut-off nozzles. The use of high-quality heating bands is indispensable in the processing of technical plastics. Their compact design and strong heating performance simplify handling and enhance process reliability. Downtime and issues caused by insufficient heat supply are significantly reduced, leading to improved production quality and efficiency.

Temperature sensor

High-quality temperature sensors are specifically designed for plastics processing. Their robust construction ensures long service life and precise melt temperature measurements, optimizing heat band control and enhancing process reliability. Premium thermocouples are essential for a stable and efficient control loop within the heating system.
