The BHPRE bolt shut-off nozzle was specifically developed for processing solid elastomers and HTV. An integrated cooling system reliably prevents premature vulcanization in the melt channel. The single-channel flow geometry avoids memory effects, and quick cleaning or color changes are easily possible. The actuation of the bolt shut-off can be done either pneumatically or hydraulically, including active retraction.
